A New Home Gets Some Finishing Touches!

Remember this gorgeous Indigo living room? Well, my clients recently moved into a new home and while the all the decor for this room fit perfectly into the new house, the rest of the house needed a little love! So, they hired me to add some finishing touches to a few more rooms in the house! Check it out!

Office/Guest Suite

 I'm in love with every detail of this office/guest suite! My clients asked that I would design the office so that it could also function as a guest room when they had company stay over! I kept the palette neutral and as always, mixed and matched many patterns! Enjoy!

Any piece of furniture that mixed wood and metal always has me drooling and this desk is definitely no exception! The leather couch gives the space a masculine feel and also doubles as a full size bed!!

Styling bookshelves could quite possibly be my favorite thing to do in any client's home!

To me, bookshelves should have a mix of books, personal keepsakes, greenery, glass, and photos!

This industrial reading lamp provides the perfect little spot for anyone to curl up to a good book!

How fantastic are these succulent wall holders?! I love the tear drop shape and how unique they look on the wall! 

These flocked curtains are one of my very favorite things in this space. They add so much warmth and texture!

A Great Room: From Simple to Styled!

  I was recently given the opportunity to take my client's living room, kitchen, and dining room from simple to styled! They already had all of the major furniture items, and just needed the finishing touches! Scroll down for pics of how I transformed this space with only a handful of accessories!

New ottomans and pillows!

I rearranged their current furniture and added lots of new textiles for softness and warmth!

The wall behind the couch was filled with a few picture ledges and a combination of hanging and leaning photo frames, plus a touch of greenery for movement!

I added lamps to the side tables and a few fun, colorful accessories.

I kept the mantle simple and added height with some faux greenery stems.

How gorgeous is this kitchen!?

I almost always add a small soap tray to every kitchen I design! The small touches can make such a big impact during your day to day routine!

On top of the cabinetry, I did a few small groupings in odd numbers to add some color and texture to the space.

For the dining room off the kitchen, I added a rug to ground the space and bring softness to the room.

A couple of lamps for a soft glow and some colorful décor was all this console table needed to bring it to life.

It's amazing how you can change just a few things in a space and it comes out looking completely made over!



Swapping out lighting for something that is eye catching and flows with your personal style can make such a huge impact!
