The Before and After Tour of our Fixer Upper!

Our fixer upper story has been 2 whole years in the making and believe me, it is far from finished! But, we LOVE our little house in the country. I am so excited to finally be able to share before and after photos of (almost) the entire house! Most of the before pics are from the actual listing when we bought the house! I hope you can see the heart and soul that was poured into each and every inch of our home!

{Living Room}

Most of our home is painted Morris Room Grey by Sherwin Williams.

{Kitchen}

Check out those knotty pine cabinets with Texas star knobs! Yee-haw!

{Dining}

The island is painted Frostwork by Sherwin Williams

{Master Bedroom}

The paint color in our Master is Austere Grey by Sherwin Williams. It is a very green shade of grey.

Would you believe that dresser was only $150 from Ikea? It came completely unfinished and after a little stain, spray paint, and new hardware, it looks like a million bucks!
That dreamy sign was a gift to us from my sister @theboardbrunette (check out her incredible handy work on Instagram!)
We decided to use the idea of a barn door as the door into our bathroom, but when we came across this antique door we fell in love! So, we used the barn door hardware to hang it!

{Master Bathroom}

{Guest Bathroom}

I don't technically have any before pics of the guest bathroom, because to us, this room is still in its before state. We plan to completely gut and renovate this by next summer so stay tuned!

Pictures of my boys' bedrooms coming soon!!

Butler's Pantry: Start to Finish

 My hubby and I have been working on installing our Butler's Pantry for a while now and its finally finished!! I documented the process in photos, so here it is!!

This is the finished product!

This is the kitchen before. There was a wall with a very tiny pantry inside.

Before and After

During: Studs going up!

During: Sheet rock!

Before and After: Hutch

This is the hutch I bought at Habitat for Humanity for $100! I painted it white and added new hardware. My hubby then installed it on the wall and trimmed it out to make it look built in!

We cut new shelves from 2" thick wood and stained it with Early American Stain.

The wine glass rack is from The Container Store and it was attached to the bottom of the shelf! The plates are from Target, the white container is vintage, and the cork ball was an afternoon craft project!

The lower cabinet is also from Habitat for Humanity, as well as the table legs that were used to frame in the cabinet and beverage fridge. You will also notice the pink tile floors in the kitchen have been replaced with wood floors that tie into the rest of the house and there are new folding doors on the laundry closet.

Love this pewter hardware from www.coolknobsandpulls.com

The backsplash is the same tumbled stone that was already in the main part of the kitchen. On Amazon for $9/sheet.

Family scrabble art was made by yours truly, but my sister custom makes them in her Etsy shop so go check her out!! The clock is from Hobby Lobby and I added some blue paint to it for some more color.

I hope this project inspires you to do a little remodeling in your home! It takes work, but it is so rewarding in the end to say that you did it your self!
